UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: High temperatures and fire may cause rapid and uncontrolled polymerization. REACTIVITY DATASTABILITY: Stable. Can cause sensitization in susceptible individuals. CARCINOGENICITY: No ingredients are classified by IARC, NTP, or OSHA as known or potential carcinogens. PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Dermal. Inhalation. SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Epoxy resins can cause sensitization in susceptible individuals. Can cause eye and skin irritation. Exposure to heated vapors can cause irritation to the nose, throat or mucous membranes. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Respiratory conditions or other allergic responses. EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURESEYES: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician. SKIN: Contact will normally cause no more than irritation but wash affected area with soap and water and remove contaminated clothing promptly. INHALATION: Move victim to fresh air area and administer oxygen if necessary. INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting, if large amounts of material are ingested, consult with a physician immediately. OTHER: Referral to a physician is recommended if there is any question about the seriousness of the injury/ exposure. CONTROL MEASURES AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTVENTILATION: General exhaust is usually sufficient to control vapors and exposure hazards. EYE PROTECTION: Chemical goggles or glasses with side shields recommended in most industrial settings. SKIN PROTECTION: Impervious gloves - Neoprene or Rubber recommended. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Use a NIOSH approved respirator as required to prevent over-exposure to vapor in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134. General exhaust is usually sufficient in lieu of NIOSH respirator. PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USEHANDLING AND STORING PRECAUTIONS: Store in cool dry place. Read the MSDS prior to using material. Seal all partially used containers. Wash with soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking or using toilet facilities. SPILL PROCEDURES: Wear respirator and protective clothing, Shut off the source of the leak. Remove excess material and take up the remainder with an absorbent such as clay and place in disposal containers. Flush area with water to remove residue. EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURESEYES: Immediately flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes while lifting upper and lower lids. Get immediate medical assistance. SKIN: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes and remove all contaminated clothing immediately. Get medical attention if reddening or swelling occurs. INHALATION: Move to fresh air if effects persist and administer oxygen if necessary. INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Dilute by giving water or milk to drink if victim is conscious.
